Three Crowns
Three Crowns (o tres coronas ) es un juego abstracto creado por Larry Back. Se requieren 2 jugadores y un tablero de 8x8. 10 fichas por cada jugador, blancas y negras. Se puede además usar fichas extras para las 'coronaciones' La disposición inicial se muestra abajo: Las fichas son de 2 tipos, "coronadas" y "sin coronar". Al principio todas las fichas están sin coronar. Las Blancas juegan primero y a partir de ese momento los jugadores alternan sus turnos durante toda la partida. Cuando no se efectue un salto, el turno consiste en desplazar una ficha, coronada o no, una casilla en cualquier dirección a una casilla vacía contigua. Es obligatorio mover una ficha en cada turno: no se puede pasar. En el segundo turno de las Blancas, este jugador tiene prohibido jugar la misma ficha que en su primer turno. En los demás turnos, cualquier jugador puede mover cualquiera de sus fichas. (Está regla pretende compensar la ventaja que tienen las Blancas por jugar en primer lugar).
